INDOOR PLANT - Sanseveria Cylindrica - in 9cm Square Pot
The Sanseveria (or Snake Plant) may just be one of the easiest plants you will ever own! Fabulous for lower lite spots of your home, office or business it will continue to grow and multiple with very little care. The cylindrical version of the snake plant, is a succulent that consists of upright 'thick' green leaves. The leaves are cylindrical in shape but narrow to a point at their tips.
It is native to Angola and is believed to keep energies away!
For the happiest fastest growing plant it will, like all your house-plants, fight for that spot with bright natural light. It can survive well in lower light but the growth will be less.
It is always best to allow the top of the soil to dry out before re-watering. A full wetting of all the soil every 2-3 weeks during the growing season (less in winter) is best to ensure all the roots can access moisture.
WE RECOMMEND PLANTING IN...
Growth of a Sanseveria is similar the sprouting of bulbs in your garden. It will multiple its leaves from the rosette base under the soil. If you provide an extra 5 - 7cm 'ish in your pot it will allow for more of those hard leaves to appear. For this 9cm plant a decorative pot that is between 14 - 16cm in diameter would be ideal. A small sized Fergus planter would be a fun choice!
** All of our plants are hand selected for their health and quality. The Sanseveria you receive may not be the exact one pictured but it will of equal quality...promise!
