INDOOR OR OUTDOOR PLANT - Rhipsalis Pilocarpa 'Furry' in 12cm pot
Rhipsalis are tropical plants in the cactus family that have long, trailing stems making them perfect choices as indoor hanging plants. Their nickname is 'jungle cactus' because they often grow at altitude throughout Central America and up in trees but have adapted to be cactus-like.
These plants are found clinging to tree crotches, in branch nooks and nestled in rock crevasses. Rhipsalis are easy to grow and has very minimal needs.
Prefers well lit areas for happiest growth. Can cope with some full sun outdoors if acclimated.
Allow the top of the soil to dry out before re-watering. As a guide this might be a full wetting of all the soil every 1-2 weeks during the growing season and much less during winter.
WE RECOMMENDED PLANTING IN...
These Rhipsalis will be best planted in a 17cm Mr Kitly pot, allowing great circulation for the plant. If a ceramic plant is more your style look for a pot approximately 12cm in diameter and with drainage.
If you'd like us to do the dirty work for you simply request your plant to be potted into your chosen pot and we'll take care of the rest!
