The sweetest little ground cover we ever did see! The Oxalis Purpurea (part of the woodsorrel family) is native to South Africa growing widespread over flats and slopes. It has long blooming winter flowers and the deepest purple leaves, a very sweet outdoor plant to add to your collection. Grow it in a container and let those purple leaves spill over the sides or plant it directly into the ground and watch it spread and bloom!
The Oxalis Purpurea will adapt to any postion your plant it in in your garden. Periods of winter sun will encourage those flowers to open, too much shade and the flowers will appear but never fully open.
In summer ensure you keep that water up to your Oxalis Purpurea, other times of the year whatever rain water comes it's way will be enough to keep it happy.
WE RECOMMEND PLANTING INTO...
Directly into the ground or an outdoor container pot.
