OUTDOOR PLANT - Medusa's Head - Cresting in 20cm pot
If you are a fan of Greek mythology you will know instantly why this unusual Euphorbia plant is commonly called 'Medusa's Head'...if you're that much of a fan then you need this plant in your home!
Euphorbia Flanaganii is native to South Africa and can reach up tp lengths of around 40cm. The plant is mostly matt dark green with stems that grow in every direction. When it flowers (once it is happily settled in its new home) you can expect it to produce yellow flowers during summer.
Medusa's Head will thrive under direct sun outdoors or indoors.
If outdoors whatever rain water your Medusa's Head receives will be adequate to meet its needs - ensuring it is in free draining soil, and if in a container the container has a means to drain. If used as an indoor houseplant allow the top of the soil to dry out before re-watering. A full wetting of all the soil every 2-3 weeks during the growing season, keep dry if inside in winter.
WE RECOMMEND PLANTING IN...
Straight into your garden bed for the best growth. If re-potting ensure your pot has a drainage hole as your Medusa's Head will be very unhappy sitting with prolonged wet soil. Increase the pot size by 5-10cm to allow room to grow.
** Please note all of our plants are hand selected for their quality and individual characteristics. If the Medusa's Head you receive is not the exact one pictured please be rest assured it will be of the same quality.
