OUTDOOR PLANT : The purple on these cactus will become most evident when the plant is stressed. This means when very hot (mid summer), very cold (mid winter) and when the soil is consistently dry.
LIGHT : Full sun is best.
WATER : Whatever rain these guys get will be enough. If under cover or inside please only water them when they have already absorbed all the moisture in the soil.
WE RECOMMENDED PLANTING IN : Pots with drainage - or for the best results - straight into your garden bed! Currently planted into 20cm plastic pots.
HOT TIP : Snails love opuntia, so if you have snails in your garden drop a couple of snail pellets around the base to stop them munching on your beautiful cactus.
