INDOOR PLANT - Grey Star (Ctenanthe Setosa) in Various Pot Sizes
The Grey Star is a beautiful indoor plant well know for that striking variegated lengthy foliage. If you are searching for something a bit different from the usual green lush plants like a Fiddle Leaf Fig or Umbrella Plant then the Grey Star could be your new plant baby!
This gorgeous plant has solid grey leaves with a star shaped patterned made from their distinct veins on the top side. The bottom side is a beautiful deep purple colour The leaves grow on top of tall, slender striking red stems. A fantastic, easy-peasy plant to care for that's low maintenance and an excellent performer. A great contrasting plant when grouped with other greenery.
Related to Calathea and Stromanthe, this is a tropical plant that will thrives in a warm, moist, and shady environment.
Bright natural light.
Allow the top of the soil to dry out before re-watering. A full wetting of all the soil every 2-3 weeks during the growing season (less in winter) is best vs to ensure all the roots can access moisture.

Mr Kitly self watering pots will make for a easy functional pot for this plant. Just don't let the Grey Star sit with water in the base for too long as it may lead to root rot. After watering ensure all water is removed from the attached drip-tray after 24 hours.
