We were lucky enough to get our hands on 3 of these hard to find Chain of Spades! They are the most unique delicate looking vine, closely related to the Chain of Hearts (but more robust!). The Ceropegia woodii is a trailing succulent with the most stunning little leaves the resemble a little ace of spades. Let it trail from a ceiling hung pot of sit high on a shelf and watch it tumble down. Easy and quick to grow these little cuties are sure to become one of your favourite collector plants.
LIGHT
To make them grow, you need light. Bright indirect light that hits the top of soil as well as the leaves. Without decent light, they will not grow well. Keep away from a northern window as the direct harsh sun will burn the leaves.
WATER
Water moderately. Chain of Spades like to be kept on the dry side so make sure the soil is dry to touch before watering again and in winter cut right back to once every 2-3 weeks.
WE RECOMMEND PLANTING IN...
We have oodles of pots to suit the needs of this versatile plant! The Chain of Spades makes a beautiful statement trailing low from a hanging pot. The small sized Cade planter is a perfect size for this guy, simply pop the plastic growers pot straight inside.
If you are planning on trialling your Chain of Hearts from a shelf check out the range of Romo planters - the lovely colours and silicone finish will make your plant pop!
Our Chain of Spades has been photographed in a small sized Basil pot.
** Please note all of our excellent plants are hand selected so we can vouch for their quality. The Chain of Spades you receive may not be the exact one pictured but it will be equally pretty!
