INDOOR OR OUTDOOR PLANT - Rabbit Foot Fern in 17.5cm Pot
Rabbit Foot Ferns (Davallia Feejeensis)is an evergreen perennial fern. It is part of the Davalliaceae family and is native to Fiji. The Rabbit Foots Fern is a hardy fern that can survive indoors or out. It is slow growing but long lived.
The rabbit’s foot fern plant gets its name from the furry rhizomes that grow on top of the soil and resemble a rabbit’s foot. The rhizomes often grow over the side of the pot, adding an extra dimension to the plant.
Bright light, can handle full sun outdoors. Can tolerate cold areas inside and outside, this makes them perfect for an office building, spare room or ensuite.
Like well drained soil, suitable to our coastal gardens. If kept indoors let water dry out to the top 2cm then re-water. If in the garden water well in summer and then allow winters magic to keep them happy.
