Originating from Madagascar and related to the cucumber the popularity of the Silver Coin Vine has been on the rise for a few years, every collector needs this plant in their lives!
Once you know it is related to the cucumber you will see similar behaviours in how they both use those tendrils at the end of the vine to reach out and climb and wind around anything. LIGHT
As this juicy vine is a type of succulent it will prefers well lit areas of your home - think by a window-sill indoors. If growing outdoors choose a spot that offers some protection from full harsh afternoon sun.
WATER
Like all your plants allow the top of the soil to dry out before re-watering. As a guide this might be a full wetting of all the soil every 2 weeks during the growing season and much less during winter.
WE RECOMMENDED PLANTING IN...
When re-potting your silver coin vase look for a pot that has a drainage hole and that is 3-5cm ('ish) larger than the 17cm that it is currently grown in. A wide Birch pot or Medium Raw Earth Hanging Pot would make for lovely options.
