OUTDOOR PLANT - Dichondra Silver Falls in 20cm Pot
If you're a keen gardener or love keeping your eye on landscape trends you would of seen plenty of uses for the stunning creeper that is the Dichondra.
A stunning plant, Dichondra ‘Silver Falls’ is a stand out in any garden much like a waterfall of tiny velvety silver coins. A tough perennial plant, it is often used in garden beds to create a flowing effect over the edges of pots, hanging baskets or retaining walls. It is also great as a ground cover in garden beds that receive full sun and requires little care once established.
Can tolerate most areas of your garden and are frost tolerant. Indoors will require indirect sunlight, full harsh indoor sunlight may cause the leaves in a Silver Falls to curl and wilt.
In the garden the Silver Falls will prefer dry to average moisture levels with very well-drained soil and unfortunately will often die in standing water. If using indoors ensure the top 2-3cm of your potting mix is full dry before giving your plant water.
WE RECOMMEND PLANTING IN...
Dichondra will prefer getting planted directly into the garden or used as a trailing plant in large baskets outdoors. If using indoors choose a pot a few centimetres larger than what it is in currently (25cm will be ideal) and ensure your pot has a way to drain any excess water. A 25cm Mr Kitly pot would be a great option.
